1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using File To Site ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and File To Site. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
File To Site is a web-based platform that allows users to upload files and automatically generate publicly accessible websites from those files. The Service provides:
- File upload and hosting capabilities (50+ supported formats)
- Automatic website generation from uploaded content
- Customizable themes, templates, and layout options
- Analytics and site management tools
- A public API for programmatic access
The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with or without notice.
3. Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
You may use certain features of the Service without creating an account. To access additional features, you may register via Google OAuth. By connecting your Google account, you authorize us to access your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture).
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.
4. User Content
4.1 Ownership
You retain all rights, title, and interest in the files and content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). We claim no ownership over your User Content.
4.2 License to Us
By uploading content to the Service, you grant File To Site a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and other users.
4.3 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to upload and share the content
- Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- Your content complies with all applicable laws and regulations
- Your content does not violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
4.4 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law, without prior notice.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload, share, or distribute illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Infringe any person's intellectual property rights
- Upload malware, viruses, or any malicious code
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Engage in phishing, spam, or fraudulent activities
- Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service without prior written consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Violations may result in immediate account termination and may be referred to law enforcement.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is and remains the exclusive property of File To Site. Our name, logos, and trademarks are protected and may not be used without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant that defects will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FILE TO SITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon account deletion, your uploaded files and generated sites will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
